China Mobile's Lianyungang branch in Jiangsu province recently took part in a cultural, technological, and health outreach program organized by the Guannan County government. The initiative, aimed at supporting China’s rural revitalization strategy, saw the company’s volunteer team visit the village committee of Xinmin Village in Liji Town, Guannan County, to deliver a series of services.
At the event, China Mobile set up a service consultation point where volunteers introduced residents to smart technologies and high-quality services. Products such as high-definition home security cameras and cloud computers attracted significant attention, with many villagers seeking on-site information. A robotic dog entertained children with its playful movements, while a chess-playing robot engaged villagers in matches, combining fun with intellectual challenge.
With the Lunar New Year approaching and telecom fraud cases on the rise, volunteers also distributed anti-fraud pamphlets and educated residents on how to identify and avoid scams, helping them protect their finances. Additionally, network optimization staff were stationed at the event to monitor and maintain smooth internet connectivity throughout the activities.
By leveraging the leadership of party members, China Mobile provided comprehensive and thoughtful services that were highly praised by local residents. Moving forward, the company will continue to fulfill its social responsibilities, using digital intelligence to boost rural development and inject new vitality into the countryside.
