Storage shares jumped in overnight trading. SanDisk up over 2%; Micron, Western Digital, Seagate Tech up around 1%.

Optical communications shares jumped in overnight trading. Applied Optoelectronics up 3%; Lumentum, Corning, Ciena up around 2%.

Beyond Meat shares plunged 10.78% as it posted a drop in fourth-quarter sales and said it won't file its annual report on time after discovering more accounting problems.

The plant-based protein company on Tuesday posted a profit of $409.9 million, and a loss of 29 cents on a per share basis, in the quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a loss of $44.9 million, or 65 cents a share, a year earlier.
