Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) held a grand opening ceremony on Thursday for the company’s first Gallery-branded dealership in the United States, located in the Nashville metropolitan area.
The new retail location, situated in the Century Farms development in Antioch, represents the first such outlet opened under the company’s "Momentum 2030" business plan. It is operated through a collaboration between MMNA and the local dealer City Auto Mitsubishi.
The showroom features an open floor plan where visitors can explore Mitsubishi Motors models, speak with product specialists, browse available inventory, and begin the purchasing process through the company’s ClickShop digital retail platform. However, vehicle sales, deliveries, and ongoing service will continue to be handled by the nearby traditional dealership operated by City Auto Mitsubishi.
MMNA President and CEO Mark Chaffin stated that the facility is designed to provide a fast and fair car-buying experience, allowing consumers to engage with the brand in places they frequently visit, thereby complementing the existing dealer network.
City Auto Mitsubishi General Manager Jordan Norton noted that this approach provides consumers with a point of access to the brand while preserving the sales and service relationship at the traditional store.
Under the Momentum 2030 plan, Mitsubishi Motors intends to launch a new or significantly updated model each year through 2030 while expanding its product lineup to include internal combustion engines, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fully electric vehicles. The Gallery concept is part of the company’s broader retail strategy adjustment and may be replicated in other markets in the future.
