Shanghai Electric and Liaoning Province Forge Industrial Collaboration

On the afternoon of April 3, Zhu Zhaokai, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Electric Group, met with Zhou Pengju, Deputy Secretary-General of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government, who was visiting. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation between Shanghai and Liaoning. Zhu Zhaokai stated that Liaoning possesses a strong industrial foundation and is currently at a critical stage of comprehensive revitalization. Shanghai Electric will leverage its comprehensive advantages in green and low-carbon energy equipment, high-end intelligent manufacturing, and extreme manufacturing capabilities to fully align with Liaoning's industrial upgrade needs. The focus will be on practical cooperation in areas such as efficient thermal power upgrades, multi-energy complementary new energy systems, and green fuels like hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol. The company aims to deeply participate in Liaoning's energy structure transformation and the construction of advanced manufacturing clusters, jointly creating a new model of cross-regional collaboration and injecting new momentum into Liaoning's high-quality development. Zhou Pengju expressed that Liaoning has a complete industrial system and broad market space. The provincial government will spare no effort to create a first-class business environment and fully support Shanghai Electric's business layout and project implementation in Liaoning. He looks forward to the company increasing its investment and innovation in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and strategic emerging industries, helping to transform Liaoning's traditional industries and cultivate new business formats. He also hopes to see more achievements in major project construction and joint technological breakthroughs, working together to contribute to new breakthroughs in the revitalization of Northeast China. Also attending the meeting were Zhang Nan, Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of the Provincial Energy Bureau; Qiu Jiayou, Vice President of Shanghai Electric; and relevant leaders from related industrial sectors.
