As temperatures plummet in Shanghai and snow begins to fall, Sinopec Sales Shanghai Petroleum (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Petroleum) has arranged for the supply of -10 diesel at 65 of its gas stations in the city. This initiative aims to meet the fuel needs of essential sectors during the cold spell, including the transportation industry, power supply, fire services, and public transport.
To ensure resource availability, Shanghai Petroleum has proactively coordinated with various refineries to stockpile ample -10 diesel reserves at its product oil depots in advance. Utilizing smart monitoring systems, the company tracks inventory levels at each station in real-time, dynamically increasing the number of supply points for -10 diesel to maintain a balanced supply and demand across the entire city.
Regarding the supply network, Shanghai Petroleum has strategically prioritized gas stations along national and provincial highways, expressways, designated bus stops, and logistics parks for the distribution of -10 diesel. This ensures timely delivery and effective service. Concurrently, the company has instructed its fuel transport contractors to conduct winter driving safety training and implement anti-skid and anti-freeze measures for their delivery vehicles, thereby strengthening safety protocols throughout the transportation process.
Moving forward, Shanghai Petroleum will continue to actively mobilize resources based on temperature fluctuations, prioritizing the fuel supply for public welfare. The company will provide -10 diesel refueling services for logistics vehicles such as container trucks and freight trucks, as well as for large long-distance buses. Efforts will also be made to balance the distribution of supply points across different regions to fully meet the demand for -10 diesel from diesel vehicles throughout Shanghai.
