VALA Inks Agreement with Liuzhou Wuling Motors for Camper Van Development

VALA (02051) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Hangzhou Vala Network Technology Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou Vala), has entered into a Wuling Zhiguang Camper Van Development Agreement with Liuzhou Wuling Motors Industrial Co., Ltd. (Wuling Industrial). The agreement involves the joint research and development of the Wuling Zhiguang EV camper van model. Under the terms of the development agreement, both parties will collaborate using the Wuling Zhiguang EV model, which was independently designed and developed by Wuling Industrial, as the base vehicle for personalized customization. Cooperation will extend to various stages including product development, component manufacturing, production line debugging, product performance testing, and reliability testing. Hangzhou Vala will be primarily responsible for the design of personalized customization solutions and the development of related specialized components. Wuling Industrial will focus on vehicle technical verification, production process optimization, regulatory certification, and manufacturing. It has been confirmed that Hangzhou Vala will serve as the exclusive customization partner for the Wuling Zhiguang EV camper van. The sales rights for this model will belong solely to Hangzhou Vala and its authorized sales channels. The jointly developed Wuling Zhiguang EV camper van is planned to be marketed under the official name "vala kcar." The Board of Directors believes that entering into this development agreement with Wuling Industrial represents a significant strategic move for the Group to deepen its footprint in the VALA automotive business and expand into the new energy vehicle segment. Wuling Industrial possesses mature experience and a comprehensive system in areas such as new energy vehicle production, technical verification, and regulatory certification. Through this collaboration, the Group can leverage the brand recognition, product reputation, and extensive dealer network of the Wuling Motors Group to further enhance the market penetration of VALA vehicles. Furthermore, by jointly developing the Wuling Zhiguang EV camper van, the Group can continue to enrich the VALA automotive product portfolio, explore multi-dimensional markets and diverse user bases, deepen its strategic presence in the new energy vehicle sector, and generate long-term, stable growth potential for the Group's VALALIFE business. Therefore, the execution of the development agreement is in the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders.
