Since March, the new facility of Gansu Zhaofeng Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., located in Huixian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, has been bustling with the sound of machinery. "The successful launch of the new plant this year has allowed us to steadily advance our production plans and significantly enhance our capacity to fulfill overseas orders," said Ran Kui, the company's负责人. The evolution of Zhaofeng Agriculture from a small workshop to an enterprise with modern production lines mirrors the ongoing upgrade of Longnan's bean product industry.
As one of Gansu's characteristic agricultural products, bean products continue to gain popularity in international markets due to advantages such as fresh raw materials, meticulous production, high quality, and distinctive features. From January to February this year, key export items like dried bean curd sticks and bean curl rolls produced locally have been sold to several countries, including Kazakhstan and Thailand, with export value increasing by over 70% compared to the same period last year.
These achievements are attributed to the "Spring Service Package" carefully prepared by Tianshui Customs, a branch of Lanzhou Customs. In response to the strong production performance of Longnan enterprises this year, the customs authority has promoted self-service printing of certificates of origin and offered mailing services, enabling companies to benefit from policy incentives without leaving their offices. Additionally, customs officers have proactively collected and compiled market access requirements and relevant information for target markets identified by businesses, delivering these materials in handbook form to help break down information barriers and precisely align with overseas demand.
Furthermore, customs officials have conducted on-site inspections at production facilities, comparing processes against the latest national standards for bean product quality and safety. They provided recommendations for improvements to ensure compliance and smooth export operations. Ran Kui expressed his appreciation, noting, "While addressing the issues pointed out during each inspection can be challenging, it is their consistently high standards and strict requirements that have ensured our product quality and greatly boosted our confidence in expanding into international markets."
A representative from Tianshui Customs stated that they will continue to leverage their functional strengths to precisely deliver policy benefits, supporting enterprises as they navigate challenges and achieve stable, long-term growth.
