According to reports, SUN.KING TECH (00580) surged nearly 10% near the close, currently up 8.7% at HKD 2, with a trading volume of HKD 15.57 million. Recently, the BEST project, a compact fusion energy experimental device, celebrated the concentrated delivery of its first toroidal field (TF) coil boxes and initial magnetic gravity support components. This follows the significant delivery of the BEST Dewar base installation on October 1. Western Securities noted that representative devices like BEST are in planning or under construction, with subsequent tenders being released, indicating continued growth in the fusion industry, highlighting potential investment opportunities in the sector. Notably, on September 8, SUN.KING TECH's Swiss subsidiary, Astrol, announced a collaboration with an innovative company in the fusion field; this company will use Astrol's power switch solutions to control the currents in advanced fusion systems. Astrol is dedicated to designing and manufacturing power electronic devices compatible with various fusion technology pathways. The company has provided pulse power switch products and solutions for over 80 projects, including those for high-energy particle research and pulse laboratories, such as TriAlpha Energy (2017) and another controllable fusion project in 2022. The additional orders further demonstrate Astrol's leading technology in the fusion power electronics domain.
