SWHYHK announced inside information on October 23, revealing that the group recently received what appeared to be an extortion message claiming to have obtained certain group data and demanding a response.

Upon learning of the situation, the group immediately activated its information technology cybersecurity response and handling mechanism, carried out multi-dimensional security reinforcement work, and proactively reported the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force while maintaining close communication.

As of the date of the announcement, the group's core businesses and management systems, including trading and settlement, were operating normally, with all operations proceeding as usual and no customer assets or funds affected.

The group will closely monitor the progress of follow-up verification. Should subsequent investigations confirm a material impact on the group's financial or operational position, the company will issue a separate announcement in due course in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements.
