Bill Gates is scheduled to visit South Korea on August 14th to discuss business cooperation in small modular reactors (SMRs) with companies under SK Group and HD Hyundai Group, according to a report from Maeil Business Newspaper citing unnamed industry insiders.
Expanding the involvement of South Korean companies in TerraPower's projects is expected to be the central agenda item during the visit. Gates will also meet with South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
