The ongoing recovery in trading sentiment within the A-share market is reflected in the user activity data of brokerage applications. According to Yidong data, the total monthly active users of securities apps reached 177 million in March 2026, marking a month-on-month increase of 3.6% and a year-on-year rise of 2.82%. Overall, the monthly active user numbers for brokerage apps showed an upward trend. In March, the number of brokerage apps with over 5 million monthly active users increased from 11 in the previous month to 14. The top three apps by monthly active users were Huatai Securities' ZHANGLE Fortune App (12.3422 million), Guotai Haitong Securities' JUNHONG App (10.6972 million), and Ping An Securities' App (8.9127 million). Among third-party securities service apps, Tonghuashun, East Money, and DZH maintained their top three positions, with monthly active users of 36.9958 million, 18.1732 million, and 13.1581 million, respectively. Comparing the monthly active user data of ZHANGLE Fortune and DZH over the past three months, the gap between them has been narrowing, suggesting that ZHANGLE Fortune may soon overtake DZH.

Meanwhile, the daily active user numbers, which better reflect user engagement, showed explosive growth among the top 20 brokerage apps. Leading brokerages such as Huatai Securities, Guotai Haitong Securities, and GF Securities secured the top three spots in daily active users, each exceeding 3.5 million. Everbright Securities led the industry with a month-on-month growth rate of 31.8%.

Despite the overall downward trend in the A-share market in March, with major indices generally closing lower, the monthly active user numbers of securities apps defied the trend, breaking the traditional pattern where activity levels were closely tied to market performance. After seasonal adjustments in February, March saw a significant recovery in the monthly active user scale of securities apps. Among the top 20 brokerages, four achieved month-on-month growth rates exceeding 4%, while 11 saw growth rates above 3%.
