ZTE Secures Chinese Telecom Tender in Hunan Province Worth 2.46 Million Yuan

According to enterprise data, ZTE Corporation (000063.SZ) has been awarded a procurement contract by China Telecom Corporation Limited's Hunan branch. The company announced the successful bid on August 10, 2026, for the second package of the "2026 Business and Government All-Optical Networking Access Equipment Procurement Project," with a total bid amount of 2.4634 million yuan.

The company's 2025 annual report shows full-year revenue of 133.895 billion yuan, representing a 10.38% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to the parent company stood at 5.618 billion yuan, down 33.32% from the prior year. The return on equity for the period was 7.58%.

For the first quarter of 2026, ZTE reported revenue of 34.988 billion yuan, up 6.13% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to the parent company fell 46.58% to 1.310 billion yuan.

Classified under the information technology sector, ZTE Corporation primarily produces transmission equipment, electronic components, servers and workstations, billing systems, switching equipment, access devices, other consumer electronics, communication systems and platforms, communication terminal equipment, network management software, and mobile communication devices and accessories. According to its 2025 annual report, the revenue breakdown by business segment is: operator network 46.94%, government and enterprise 27.8%, and consumer business 25.26%.
