Recently, relevant leaders from the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission visited SINO-OCEAN GP's Beijing headquarters to hold a special working meeting on the development of urban renewal business and the advancement of key projects. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as policy implementation, overcoming project bottlenecks, and improving cooperation mechanisms, aiming to promote the efficient execution of key urban renewal initiatives. Attendees included Pang Ruijing, Second-Level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, relevant leaders from the Real Estate Development Department and the municipal urban renewal task force, as well as SINO-OCEAN GP's Executive Director and Executive President Wang Honghui, President Assistant Zhao Guangyao, General Manager of Construction Management Center Gong Chengxu, and General Manager of Beijing SINO-OCEAN Urban Renewal Development Co., Ltd. Zhou Chuanzhong. The Beijing Municipal Urban Renewal Task Force is a substantive operational body under the Municipal Urban Renewal Special Group Office, operating centrally within the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission to coordinate urban renewal policy alignment and project advancement across the city. During the meeting, relevant business leaders from SINO-OCEAN GP provided detailed introductions on the company's urban renewal business, custom residential projects, and specific challenges encountered in current project implementation. In response to the company's concerns, the municipal urban renewal task force addressed each point individually, offering guidance and expressing commitment to actively support project inclusion in official registries. They also pledged to assist the company in accessing supportive policies, facilitating policy and funding channels, strengthening multi-party collaboration, and ensuring the smooth progress of urban renewal projects. As one of the early entrants in the urban renewal sector, SINO-OCEAN GP has been deeply involved in this field for over two decades, with a cumulative implementation area exceeding 30 million square meters. The company has established a systematic framework covering "district renewal, stock revitalization, and community rejuvenation." Since 2023, SINO-OCEAN GP has signed contracts for 24 urban renewal projects. Through practical project experience, the company has developed a comprehensive "toolkit"—capable of providing tailored solutions for complex challenges in urban renewal, whether in capital operations, engineering renovations, or post-renovation management. By the end of 2025, the former Anzhen Hualian Department Store, located in Beijing's North Third Ring Road, was revitalized as SINO-OCEAN Anzhen Plaza. Utilizing a synergistic model of "fund + renovation + operation," it was transformed into a rare green-oxygen complex in the city's core area, serving as a typical case of existing building renovation and reuse in Beijing. Additionally, SINO-OCEAN GP has signed strategic cooperation agreements on urban renewal with the Karamay Municipal Government and Xiamen University Planning Institute, extending its urban renewal service chain to front-end processes such as policy research, urban assessments, and project screening, thereby providing institutional support for urban renewal practices. Wang Honghui stated that SINO-OCEAN GP will take this visit as an opportunity to further deepen collaboration with the Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, continuously leverage its comprehensive advantages across multiple business chains, actively participate in the capital's urban renewal practices, create high-quality benchmark projects, and contribute to urban functional enhancement and living environment improvement. The municipal urban renewal task force expressed its commitment to fully utilize the advantages of the "enterprise direct communication" mechanism, improve services for urban renewal projects, support the accelerated implementation of SINO-OCEAN GP's urban renewal projects in Beijing, encourage the company to leverage its full industry chain strengths, actively share mature experiences, and jointly explore sustainable pathways for urban renewal to contribute to the optimization of the capital's functions and high-quality development.
