RONGTA TECH Proposes Removal of PwC as Auditor

RONGTA TECH (09881) has announced a proposal to remove PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from its role as the company's auditor, pending the approval of a relevant resolution at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting.

PwC was initially appointed as the auditor during the company's preparation for listing on the Stock Exchange and was further appointed upon its listing, with its term set to last until the conclusion of the company's first annual general meeting.

The company is currently seeking suitable candidates to fill the temporary auditor vacancy created by the proposed removal. An additional announcement will be made once a replacement is confirmed.

All audit work has been fully suspended for the time being. Upon the appointment of a new auditor, the company will continue to exert its best efforts to complete the audit procedures as swiftly as possible.

The company will issue further announcements in due course regarding any significant developments in the audit process, including the anticipated completion date of the audit and the expected date for the publication of the annual results, where applicable.
