On the afternoon of April 7, China's National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice announcing an adjustment in domestic fuel prices. Based on recent changes in international oil prices and the current refined oil pricing mechanism, the prices of gasoline and diesel (standard products) will increase by 800 yuan and 770 yuan per ton, respectively, effective from midnight on April 7. After regulation, the actual increases are 420 yuan and 400 yuan per ton.
Following the adjustment, at PetroChina gas stations in Shenyang, the price of 92-octane gasoline has risen by 0.34 yuan per liter, reaching 9.03 yuan per liter. The price of 95-octane gasoline has increased by 0.37 yuan per liter, reaching 9.65 yuan per liter. The price of 0-grade diesel has gone up by 0.34 yuan per liter, reaching 8.49 yuan per liter.
For a typical private car with a 50-liter fuel tank, the price adjustment means that refilling with 92-octane gasoline will now cost an additional 17 yuan, while refilling with 95-octane gasoline will cost an extra 18.5 yuan.
Based on the current refined oil pricing cycle, the next fuel price adjustment window is scheduled to open at midnight on April 21, 2026.
