The leading artificial intelligence stocks in Hong Kong, Knowledge Atlas and MINIMAX-WP, opened significantly lower, falling more than 13% and 10% respectively.
The decline follows an apology issued by Knowledge Atlas (02513.HK) concerning its GLM Coding Plan, an AI program subscription package. The company also announced a handling and compensation plan for the issue. The main problems identified with the recent service update included insufficient transparency of the rules, an overly slow rollout schedule for the GLM-5 model, and a poorly designed upgrade mechanism for existing users.
