Municipal Government Inks Strategic Cooperation Framework with China University of Petroleum, Beijing

On February 6, the Quanzhou Municipal People's Government signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China University of Petroleum, Beijing. Mayor Cai Zhansheng held talks with a delegation led by the university's President Jin Yan and jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.

Mayor Cai extended a welcome to President Jin and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the long-standing attention and support the university has provided for Quanzhou's development. He stated that Quanzhou boasts profound historical and cultural heritage and a superior business environment. Currently, the city is concentrating on building a "955" modern industrial cluster, consolidating and expanding a series of special actions to "promote projects and boost development," and striving to advance the construction of a modern industrial system to a new level.

The scientific research strengths and talent cultivation focus of China University of Petroleum, Beijing align with Quanzhou's industrial layout, indicating broad prospects for cooperation. It is hoped that both sides will continue to deepen collaboration, striving to achieve more practical outcomes in areas such as petrochemicals, integration of industry and education, equipment manufacturing, and new energy, thereby realizing mutually beneficial development.
