1.25 Billion Ton, 70 Million Ton/Year Quarry Gains Access to Yangtze Golden Waterway: CLP Holdings Qichun Green Building Materials Terminal Passes Final Inspection

Deep News11-19

On November 15, 2025, the Green Building Materials Terminal Project in Maoshan Port Area of Qichun Port, Hubei, successfully passed the final inspection and acceptance. The inspection meeting was organized by CLP Holdings (Qichun) New Materials Co., Ltd., with participation from nearly 30 representatives, including officials from the Hubei Provincial Department of Transport Engineering Affairs Center, Huanggang City and Qichun County Transport Bureaus, Port and Shipping Affairs Center, Huangshi Maritime Safety Administration, industry experts, and construction units. The meeting conducted a comprehensive review of the project's construction results.

The project, officially launched on September 10, 2024, is a key component of the Shiguchong Construction Aggregate Mine in Liuhe Town, Qichun County, Hubei. It connects the mining resources to the Yangtze River's golden waterway, serving as a crucial channel for green building material exports. In December 2022, CLP Holdings (Qichun) New Materials Co., Ltd. secured the mining rights for the Shiguchong quarry (containing gneiss and granite) for 1.99 billion yuan. The mine boasts reserves of 1.25 billion tons, with an annual designed production capacity of 70 million tons and an operational lifespan of 20 years. It officially commenced production in May 2025.

The newly constructed Green Building Materials Terminal in Maoshan Port Area features four 10,000-ton bulk cargo berths, with an annual designed throughput capacity of 32 million tons. The terminal adopts a high-pile structure and is equipped with production and auxiliary facilities, loading and transportation equipment, as well as supporting infrastructure such as roads, water supply and drainage, power supply, lighting, fire protection, and environmental protection—fully meeting green port operational standards.

During the inspection, the on-site review team listened to reports from participating construction units and conducted a thorough evaluation of project quality, construction standards, and functional facilities. The team unanimously concluded that the terminal met all design and regulatory requirements, with qualified construction quality and compliance with final acceptance criteria, approving its operational readiness.

The completion and operation of the Qichun Green Building Materials Terminal will significantly optimize regional logistics, attract industrial agglomeration, and drive high-quality economic development in the area. Moving forward, the project company will strictly adhere to regulatory requirements, enhance terminal management, and strengthen safety systems to ensure efficient operations and inject new momentum into regional socio-economic growth.

From November 26 to 28, 2025, the Aggregate Network, in collaboration with Zhekuang Heavy Industry, will host the "2025 East China Sea Forum—5th China Aggregate High-Quality Development Summit" in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The event will include seminars on new energy and intelligent applications in the aggregate industry, supply chain innovation exchanges, industry capacity rankings, commendations, and new product launches. CLP Holdings (Qichun) New Materials Co., Ltd. will showcase its aggregate products (ranging from 0-5mm, 5-16mm, and 16-25mm specifications) at the exhibition, catering to diverse construction material needs. Industry peers are invited to join this grand event and explore new development opportunities.
