Starbucks (SBUX) will open a new corporate office in Davidson County, Nashville later this year. The coffee giant stated that this move will help strengthen its supply chain to meet the continuously growing demand in the southeastern United States.
The new center will bring together teams focused on direct and indirect procurement as part of Starbucks' efforts to enhance the efficiency of its North American supply chain. This initiative aims to support store expansion and increasing customer traffic in the region. The company also plans to relocate some positions currently based in Seattle to Nashville, though Seattle will remain the global headquarters of Starbucks.
Company executives highlighted Nashville's labor resources and business environment as key factors in the decision. Chief Operating Officer Mike Grams stated when announcing the plans, "The city offers a deep, talented, and growing workforce, making it an ideal location for us."
