Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. (Stock code: 2714) will convene its 2026 first extraordinary general meeting on March 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Muyuan Conference Room in Longsheng Industrial Park, Wolong District, Nanyang, Henan Province, to consider two key proposals: first, a plan to rename the Chinese entity from 牧原食品股份有限公司 to 牧原食品集团股份有限公司, and the English name from Muyuan Foods Co., Ltd. to Muyuan Foods Group Co., Ltd.; second, amendments to the Articles of Association.

According to the announcement, the name change aligns with the company’s international development strategy and aims to optimize group management. The proposed amendments to the Articles of Association include updating the registered capital structure to 5.74 billion total shares, comprising approximately 5.46 billion A shares and 273.95 million H shares, reflecting the recent share issuance.

The meeting notice indicates the company’s stock code will remain 2714. Subject to shareholder approval and completion of filing procedures, share certificates bearing the existing name will continue to be valid. New share certificates will be issued in the new name after all necessary approvals. The registry for determining shareholder eligibility will be closed March 10 through March 13, 2026 (both days inclusive).
