USD/CNY Central Parity Rate Set at 6.9007, Down 48 Basis Points

On March 13, the central parity rate of the Chinese yuan against the US dollar was set at 6.9007, reflecting a decrease of 48 basis points.

The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in March stands at 99.1%. According to CME's FedWatch Tool, there is a 0.9% chance of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Fed in March, while the likelihood of maintaining the current rate is 99.1%. For April, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut is 3.9%, with a 96.0% chance of unchanged rates and a 0% probability of a 50 basis point reduction. By June, the probability of a total 25 basis point rate cut increases to 19.5%.
