Insilico Medicine (03696) shares rose more than 7% in early trading. At the time of writing, the stock is up 6.21% to HK$45.48, with a turnover of HK$332 million.

On July 13th, according to a post on the company's official WeChat account, Insilico Medicine announced a new artificial intelligence-driven drug discovery collaboration with CMS (00867) in the field of central nervous system diseases. The partnership focuses on a high-market-potential indication and is based on a novel mechanism of action identified by the PandaOmics platform.

Under the terms of the agreement, the companies will combine Insilico's validated AI platform and its capabilities in AI-powered innovative drug R&D with CMS's experienced research team and deep understanding of the disease area to jointly advance the collaborative development of the project. Furthermore, Insilico Medicine is eligible to receive milestone payments totaling up to approximately RMB 1.2 billion, along with a share of net sales. This collaboration marks a further deepening of the relationship between the two parties, aiming to fully leverage their complementary strengths across the entire value chain of drug discovery, clinical development, and commercialization.
