Pudong's Winter Wonderland: L+Mall in Lujiazui Launches "Snow Kingdom Carnival"

Deep News12-01

Amid a dazzling interplay of icy landscapes and light art, the "Snow Kingdom Carnival" season kicked off spectacularly on the evening of November 29 with the "Shine On Ice" grand ice show. Featuring over 1,000 square meters of real snowscapes and a 500-square-meter urban ice rink, the event offers Shanghai residents an immersive winter experience, establishing a new social hotspot in Pudong this season.

The sunken plaza of L+Mall in Lujiazui has been transformed into a magical ice stage, where world-class ice dancers from Europe, America, and China—including Olympic and championship figure skaters—delivered a breathtaking performance. The shimmering reflections of skates on transparent ice, combined with the swirling ice crystals and the dancers' graceful movements, created an enchanting atmosphere. The entire plaza became an "immersive winter theater," turning it into one of Pudong’s most captivating winter attractions.

Starting November 30, the "Shine On Ice Rink" will open to the public, allowing visitors to transition from spectators to participants. Whether attempting spins, leisurely glides, or skating alongside friends, guests can step into their own "snow kingdom story."

The carnival will run until February next year, integrating ice rinks, snow parades, and other winter-themed experiences. Special effects like artificial snowfall on weekends and holidays will further enhance the festive ambiance, appealing to families, office workers, and young visitors alike.

During the event, L+Mall will collaborate with over 100 brands to offer cross-category holiday promotions, covering fashion, electronics, home goods, and gold jewelry. Exclusive membership perks—including gift-with-purchase offers, point redemptions, and holiday raffles—will add to the year-end shopping excitement.

From seasonal installations and festive retail activations to diverse lifestyle experiences, L+Mall continues to redefine urban social spaces. Moving forward, the mall plans to introduce more culturally rich and aesthetically engaging experiences, strengthening emotional connections with visitors and keeping Pudong’s city center vibrant and innovative.
