Has the "Healthy Home Guardian Fund," established with a 400 million yuan donation by KE Holdings Inc. (BEKE-W) co-founders Peng Yongdong and Shan Yigang, reached industry agents diagnosed with serious illnesses? It has been learned that on June 11th, KE Holdings Inc. (BEKE-W) once again disclosed the distribution status of its Guardian Fund.
Since applications opened on April 23rd, with retroactive coverage to the program's launch date of February 24th, a total of 2.48 million yuan has been distributed over the past three and a half months, benefiting 64 service provider families nationwide.
Among them, nine agents have each received cumulative payments exceeding 100,000 yuan (including 100,000 yuan). Recipients also include store owners, account managers, regional managers, transaction signing managers, store business partners, operations managers, installers, painters, and others from 34 cities across the country who have successively received 20,000 yuan in critical illness support.
It is understood that an agent from Xuzhou Deyou unfortunately passed away due to illness, leaving behind two young children, one in first grade and the other in third grade. According to the Guardian Fund rules, the family received home-warming assistance and children's education support, totaling 260,000 yuan. For a family that has lost its main provider, these funds not only alleviate immediate financial pressure but also provide practical security for the children's future growth and education.
Another agent from Chongqing Deyou was unfortunately diagnosed with mid-to-late stage liver cancer and received a 20,000 yuan life emergency grant within two days of application. He stated, "The company is truly reliable. The submission process was simple and not difficult, the handling was very fast, and I had money for treatment immediately, which gave me more confidence. As the family's main provider, stopping work for treatment creates financial pressure, so this support is crucial for our family. Only a large platform like KE can provide this kind of safety net for agents nationwide. I am grateful to the platform."
According to the disclosure, 38 of the 64 beneficiaries are also members of KE's "Green Plan," including the Chongqing Deyou agent. The "Green Plan," launched by KE in 2008, specifically provides disease and accident protection support for KE service providers and their family members, with a cumulative assistance limit of 2 million yuan. This plan does not conflict with and can be applied for in addition to the Healthy Home Guardian Fund. This means these 38 service providers can subsequently apply for up to 2 million yuan in platform protection under the Green Plan rules.
The "Healthy Home Guardian Fund," for which detailed rules were announced this time, was jointly established by KE co-founders Peng Yongdong and Shan Yigang on February 24th of this year. In April 2025 and February 2026, the two co-founders announced donations of 19 million shares to support the medical security, children's education, and other needs of service providers in the residential industry and their families, as well as to provide support for new graduates.
It is reported that the "Healthy Home Guardian Fund" consists of three sub-programs, covering service providers such as brand owners, store owners, agents, cleaners, and maintenance workers. The "Life Emergency Grant" is for sudden critical illness diagnosis scenarios. Upon diagnosis with complete documentation, a one-time 20,000 yuan grant can be applied for and received within two business days. This emergency grant differs from traditional post-treatment reimbursement insurance models in the market, positioning itself as a "life-saving emergency" measure to provide timely support to families in distress at the earliest moment.
The other two programs provide a safety net for special circumstances: employees and residential industry service providers who completely lose their ability to work or pass away can receive a one-time 100,000 yuan "Home-Warming Assistance Grant." Beneficiaries with children can also receive a one-time education support grant ranging from 20,000 to 100,000 yuan through the "Children's Education Grant," depending on their children's school age, to help families through difficult times.
