Yihai Kerry Arawana's Half-Year Results: Net Profit Surges 30.69% to 2.294 Billion Yuan, Core Profit Up 6.61%

On the evening of August 12, Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings Co.,Ltd. (SZ300999, stock price: 25.94 yuan, market cap: 140.6 billion yuan) released its half-year report for 2026. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of 122.852 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.20%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached 2.294 billion yuan, up 30.69% year-on-year.

Notably, the company disposed of certain equity interests in the first half of the year, contributing 263 million yuan to net profit attributable to shareholders. Excluding this impact, the net profit attributable to shareholders stood at 2.031 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 15.71%. Looking at recent performance, the company's full-year net profit attributable to shareholders in 2025 hit 3.153 billion yuan, a three-year high, and the first half of 2026 continued this recovery trend. Meanwhile, the company announced it would not distribute cash dividends, issue bonus shares, or capitalize reserves for share capital increase in the first half of the year.

According to Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings Co.,Ltd.'s half-year report, the company posted operating revenue of 122.852 billion yuan, up 6.20% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders was 2.294 billion yuan, a 30.69% increase, while net profit attributable to shareholders after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 1.481 billion yuan, up 6.61% year-on-year. Basic earnings per share reached 0.42 yuan, a 31.25% year-on-year increase.

The announcement indicated that revenue growth was primarily driven by increased sales volumes of kitchen food, feed raw materials, and oil-based products compared to the same period last year. Specifically, kitchen food revenue was 77.424 billion yuan, up 8.21%, while feed raw materials and oil-based product revenue was 44.512 billion yuan, up 3.09%. Sales of oil, rice, and flour products within the kitchen food segment grew across consumer, catering, food industry, and e-commerce channels, benefiting from the company's continuous introduction of higher-quality products, expanded sales channels and networks, and optimized product mix.

The announcement also disclosed that the company transferred its 50% stakes in Yihai Kerry Kellogg's Food (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Yihai Kerry Kellogg's Food (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. to Mars Wrigley Confectionery (China) Co., Ltd., realizing a pre-tax profit of 309 million yuan and a net profit attributable to shareholders of 263 million yuan. Excluding the impact of equity disposals in associates and joint ventures, the net profit attributable to shareholders for the period was 2.031 billion yuan, up 15.71% year-on-year.

Looking at recent financials, Wind data shows that the company's net profit attributable to shareholders from 2023 to 2025 was 2.848 billion yuan, 2.502 billion yuan, and 3.153 billion yuan, respectively. Full-year 2025 revenue reached 245.126 billion yuan, with net profit hitting a three-year high, and the first half of 2026 continued this upward trajectory.

The half-year report highlights that the company is a major agricultural and food processing enterprise in China, owning well-known brands such as "Golden Arowana," "Huajihua," and "Olivoila." According to the 2026 (16th edition) China Brand Power Index (C-BPI) released by Chnbrand, "Golden Arowana" ranked first in the oil, rice, and flour sub-categories, with "Golden Arowana" winning the cooking oil brand championship for the 16th consecutive year and maintaining first place in rice and flour for the third straight year. Per the latest 2026 data from the World Brand Lab, the brand value of "Golden Arowana" is approximately 100.329 billion yuan.

In terms of production layout, as of June 30, 2026, the company had 83 operational production bases nationwide, with some new bases still under construction. Through large-scale, integrated industrial parks, the company achieves maximum efficiency and economies of scale by clustering upstream and downstream factories within a single base, where one factory's output becomes another's raw material, reducing overall logistics and inventory costs. The company also adheres to technology-driven sustainable industrial development, pioneering a circular economy model for rice processing. This model uses rice husks for power generation and extracts high-value-added products like white carbon black and activated carbon from rice husk ash, transforming agricultural product processing from primary to advanced processing.
