China Shenhua (01088) disclosed its October 2025 operational figures, reporting a 7.4% year-on-year decline in commercial coal production for the month and a 1.1% drop in the year-to-date total. Coal sales fell 5.8% year-on-year in October and decreased by 8.2% on a cumulative basis. According to the announcement, shipment turnover experienced a 10.5% year-on-year decline in October, attributed to structural adjustments in the shipping business and route modifications.
Loading volume at Tianjin Coal Dock recorded a 20.7% year-on-year rise for October, thanks to a lower base caused by port equipment maintenance in the same period last year. Polypropylene sales showed a 12.7% year-on-year increase in October, driven by higher production levels and inventory consumption. Gross power generation rose 2.3% year-on-year in October, while the cumulative figure declined 4.7%.
The announcement emphasized that the data is based on internal statistics and may be affected by factors such as weather, equipment overhauls, and seasonal conditions. It also cautioned that operational data disclosed in monthly updates may differ from those in periodic reports, advising investors to exercise caution when interpreting the figures.
