Loar Holdings Inc (LOAR) surged 5.65% in intraday trading Thursday, as investors reacted to stronger-than-expected quarterly results and an upbeat full-year outlook from the aerospace components maker.
The company reported second-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.38 per diluted share, topping the consensus analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue jumped 39% year-over-year to $171.6 million, also exceeding the $162.8 million forecast. Management cited exceptional demand across commercial, business jet, general aviation, and defense end-markets as the key driver behind the sales growth.
Loar also raised its 2026 guidance, lifting its net sales forecast to $665 million–$675 million from the prior $645 million–$655 million, and adjusted earnings per share to $1.32–$1.36 from $1.26–$1.30. Both ranges came in above FactSet consensus estimates, further fueling the stock's rally.
