The professional services firm reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.50 for Q1, beating the consensus estimate of $2.20 by 13.6%. Net income jumped 31.6% year-over-year to $162 million, while revenue increased 1.3% to $849 million. Management highlighted improved organic growth throughout the quarter and progress in deploying an agentic AI platform.
Investors reacted positively to the company's raised full-year outlook. CBIZ increased its 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to a range of $4.00 to $4.10, up from the previous forecast of $3.75 to $3.85. The company also raised its adjusted EBITDA outlook for the year.
