Ingenic Semiconductor Co.,Ltd. is a well-known domestic integrated circuit company. Information shows the company's main business includes R&D and sales of microprocessor chips, smart video chips, ASIC chip products, and integrated solutions, as well as memory chips and analog chips.

Huang Lei, born in 1982, is currently 43 years old and holds a master's degree, though his alma mater and major are not disclosed in public records. His career has been firmly rooted at Ingenic Semiconductor.

He joined the company in 2009 as an IC designer and later rose to become manager of the SOC department. In May 2018, Huang was promoted to Vice President, and since May 2023, he has also served as a non-independent director. According to Ingenic Semiconductor’s disclosed executive compensation data, Huang earned an annual salary of 796,000 yuan last year—the highest among the company’s leadership team and significantly above his peers. The company has seven Vice Presidents, and the other six each received 588,000 yuan in 2024, making Huang’s pay 208,000 yuan higher than the average for his role.

Notably, Huang’s salary has shown a steady upward trend: in 2022 and 2023, he earned 552,000 yuan and 609,000 yuan, respectively. His 2024 compensation rose by 187,000 yuan, marking a 30% increase.

Ingenic Semiconductor’s Q1-Q3 2025 financial report revealed revenue of 3.4365 billion yuan, up 7.35% year-on-year. However, net profit attributable to shareholders fell 19.75% to 244 million yuan, while adjusted net profit dropped 40.29% to 190 million yuan. Despite slight revenue growth, both profitability metrics declined.
