On October 10, Huyanghe City of the 7th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps publicly announced the first batch of market-based grid-connected new energy projects for 2026.

According to the announcement, one project was included in the first batch of market-based grid-connected new energy projects for Huyanghe City of the 7th Division in 2026, namely the 135MW solar project of the 125th Regiment of the 7th Division. The owning company is Huyanghe City Zhongshun New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total scale of 135,000 kilowatts.

The project is located in the 125th Regiment of the 7th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, with a planned installed capacity of 135MW. It is a centralized solar power generation project, equipped with facilities including a solar farm area, collection lines, and a 110kV collection and step-up substation. The project is planned to have one new 110kV line connected to the Liugou 220kV substation.

The project is a new energy initiative through which the 7th Division implements new energy development and construction, optimizes the regional power supply structure, and increases the share of green electricity supply. Once operational, the project will play an important role in alleviating the power shortage in the 7th Division's grid, promoting local consumption of new energy, and supporting the growth of regional industrial load.
