CHUANGXIN IND (HKEX: 02788) shares have risen by more than 5% following the release of a positive profit alert. At the time of writing, the stock is up 5.04% to HK$16.19, with a trading turnover of HK$24.54 million.
On July 3rd, the group issued an announcement forecasting a net profit attributable to company owners of approximately RMB 2.2 billion to RMB 2.4 billion for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026. This represents a significant increase of about 154.1% to 177.2% compared to the same period last year. This forecasted profit figure is stated after deducting an additional tax payment of approximately RMB 476 million that was announced on June 2, 2026.
The company's board attributes this substantial projected profit growth to several key factors. Firstly, the average selling price for its primary aluminum products has increased year-on-year. Secondly, a higher proportion of green electricity usage has helped to reduce overall production costs. Finally, the company has actively optimized its financing structure, leading to lower financing interest rates and a subsequent decrease in financial expenses.
