Kaisa Group Receives U.S. Court Recognition of Hong Kong Restructuring Proceedings

Bulletin Express05-21

Kaisa Group Holdings Ltd. announced that on 14 May 2026 the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York entered recognition orders under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

The court designated the ongoing Hong Kong restructuring proceedings for both Kaisa Group and subsidiary Rui Jing as “foreign main proceedings.” Pursuant to Section 1520, the orders impose a permanent injunction blocking any actions within U.S. jurisdiction that could conflict with or impede the restructuring’s administration, implementation or consummation.

All case documents, including the recognition orders, are available through the U.S. court’s PACER system or free of charge on Kroll’s restructuring website (https://restructuring.ra.kroll.com/Kaisa).

The board advises shareholders and investors to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities.
