5100 Xizang Glacier Company Limited published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance Report covering the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025. Key disclosures are summarised below.
Environmental Performance • Greenhouse-gas intensity fell 23.07 % year-on-year to 0.10 tCO₂e per tonne of qualified product, driven by curtailed non-essential vehicle use and optimised electricity efficiency. • Total energy-consumption intensity declined 11.39 % to 254.63 kWh per tonne of qualified product; electricity purchases accounted for 11.13 million kWh and LPG for 8.31 million kWh. • Water-withdrawal intensity dropped 11.02 % to 2.34 m³ per tonne of qualified product. • Non-hazardous-waste intensity decreased 33.33 % to 0.02 tonne per tonne of qualified product, helped by SKU rationalisation in the beer line. • Hazardous-waste intensity rose 22.34 % to 2.30 g per tonne of qualified product owing to a higher number of production-batch tests.
Short-Term Environmental Targets For 2025 the group set one-year goals to “maintain or limit increases” in GHG emissions, waste generation, energy use and water withdrawal. All targets were met except hazardous-waste intensity, which rose because of increased laboratory testing linked to higher production batches.
Supply-Chain Management A formal Procurement Control Procedure and Supplier Management Implementation Rules have been instituted. Annual tendering, performance scoring and environmental criteria are applied uniformly, with an emphasis on local sourcing and preference for environmentally friendly materials.
Product Quality & Certifications • Environmental management systems for water and beer operations hold ISO 14001:2015 and GB/T 24001-2016 certifications. • Quality-management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and GB/T 19001-2016. • Production processes comply with HACCP guideline CAC/RCP1-1969 Rev4(2003). In 2025, 143 near-expiry or expired products were recalled and scrapped; nine cases of packaging breakage were addressed without major customer complaints.
Occupational Health & Safety For the third consecutive year the company reported zero work-related fatalities and zero lost-time injuries. ISO 45001:2018 and GB/T 45001-2020 certifications remain in force.
Workforce Profile Headcount stood at 327 (201 men, 126 women) at year-end. Staff turnover was 3.89 %, with 95.65 % of departures occurring in Hong Kong as part of structural adjustments; mainland turnover was 0.62 %. Approximately 80.73 % of employees received training, averaging 4.09 hours each.
Anti-Corruption and Governance No concluded legal cases related to corruption, bribery, extortion, fraud or money-laundering were reported. Directors and senior managers completed 2.5 hours of anti-corruption training and the whistle-blowing mechanism remains active.
Community Investment The company expanded social programmes in Tibet and other regions, including donations of bottled water for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, relief supplies following the “1.7” Tingri County earthquake, youth football exchanges between Tibet and Hong Kong, and art-therapy fundraising for autistic children. A December campaign pledged down-jacket donations to impoverished Tibetan students for each JD.com order of at least RMB 688.
Looking Ahead 5100 Xizang Glacier will continue to monitor Scope 3 emissions feasibility, refine climate-scenario analyses and integrate decarbonisation measures in line with China’s 2060 carbon-neutral goal while broadening data coverage and enhancing ESG disclosures in upcoming reports.
