Stock Track | Kingboard Holdings Plummets 5.08% Intraday on Sector Pullback and Major Shareholder Selling Pressure

Stock Track07-22

Kingboard Holdings' stock plummeted 5.08% during intraday trading on Wednesday.

The decline follows a sector-wide retreat in the PCB segment after a strong rebound in the previous session, with subsidiary KB Laminates also declining approximately 5%, contributing to the downward pressure on the Kingboard complex.

Persistent selling by the controlling shareholder, Hallgain Management Limited, continues to weigh heavily on market sentiment. The shareholder has significantly reduced its stake since early July, with cumulative disposals exceeding HK$2.5 billion. Concurrent sales by Chairman Zhang Guorong have added to the supply-side pressure, capping the stock's near-term recovery potential despite underlying supportive industry fundamentals.
