Shares of KE Holdings Inc. jumped 12% in U.S. premarket trading after China’s central bank and the National Financial Regulatory Administration issued new guidelines aimed at reforming and improving real estate credit management.

Under the new measures, the maximum term for individual home mortgages will be extended to 40 years from the previous limit of 30 years, as authorities seek to accelerate the development of a new model for China’s property sector.
