COSCO SHIP HOLD cancels 44.89 million H shares; slight A-share uptick in June capital update

For the month ended 30 June 2026, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd. reported the following equity movements to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing:

1. H-share reduction • Issued H shares fell by 44.89 million to 2.71 billion after the company cancelled shares repurchased between 23 March 2026 and 22 May 2026. • The cut represents a 1.63 % decrease versus the 2.76 billion H shares outstanding at end-May. • COSCO SHIPPING Holdings confirmed that the H-share public-float requirement of at least 5 % remains satisfied.

2. A-share issuance via option exercise • Issued A shares rose marginally by 32,618 shares, reaching 12.56 billion. • The increase stemmed from the exercise of reserved options under the 2019 A-share option incentive scheme at an exercise price of RMB 1 per share, raising RMB 32,618.

3. Authorised share capital • Authorised H-share capital stayed unchanged at 2.97 billion shares. • Authorised A-share capital increased in line with the option exercise, moving to 12.66 billion shares. • Aggregate authorised share capital now stands at 15.64 billion shares with a par value of RMB 1 each.

4. Outstanding employee options • After the month’s movements, 547,979 reserved A-share options and 704,740 first-batch A-share options remain outstanding under the 2019 scheme.

The filing, submitted on 3 July 2026 by Company Secretary Xiao Junguang, confirms that all transactions complied with applicable listing rules and legal requirements.
