Scholar Education Buys 76,000 Shares at HK$0.76 Each for Award Scheme Trustee’s Stake Rises to 7.86%

Bulletin Express10-22

Scholar Education Group disclosed that the trustee of its share award scheme acquired 76,000 shares on-market on 22 October 2026. The purchase price averaged HK$0.76 per share, bringing the total cash consideration to about HK$0.06 million. The newly bought shares represent roughly 0.011% of the company’s issued share capital.

Following the transaction, the trustee’s aggregate holding rose to 52.93 million shares, equivalent to 7.86% of Scholar Education’s total shares outstanding. Management reiterated that the current market price significantly undervalues the company’s fundamentals and sees the repurchase as an attractive opportunity to secure shares for future grants under the long-standing share award scheme initiated in December 2020.

The board will continue to review market conditions and determine future purchases and awards at its discretion, aligning allocations with performance-based vesting criteria for selected participants.
