MCC Repurchases 3.40 Million H-Shares and 9.75 Million A-Shares on 10 July; Pending Cancellations Rise to 14.67 Million H-Shares and 122.02 Million A-Shares

Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return on 10 July 2026, detailing the latest movements in its H- and A-share buy-back programmes.

H-SHARE ACTIVITY

• 10 July 2026 repurchase: MCC bought back 3.40 million H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 1.43 and HKD 1.48 per share, for a total consideration of approximately HKD 5.00 million. The shares, equal to 0.12 % of the company’s 2.84 billion H-shares outstanding before the transaction, are designated for cancellation.

• Cumulative July repurchases (2–10 July): 14.67 million H-shares have been repurchased but not yet cancelled, representing 0.52 % of the H-share capital. The volume was acquired at a volume-weighted average price of HKD 1.42, absorbing roughly HKD 20.80 million in aggregate. These purchases utilised about 5.17 % of the 283.90 million-share authority approved by shareholders on 29 June 2026.

• Capital position: Despite the buy-backs, the issued H-share capital remains unchanged at 2.84 billion shares because the repurchased stock has not yet been cancelled. A 30-day moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales applies until 9 August 2026, as required under Hong Kong listing rules.

A-SHARE ACTIVITY

• 10 July 2026 repurchase: On the Shanghai Stock Exchange, MCC acquired 9.75 million A-shares at prices ranging from RMB 2.49 to RMB 2.58, spending RMB 25.00 million. These shares are also earmarked for cancellation.

• Cumulative 2026 repurchases (26 Jan – 10 Jul): The company has repurchased 122.02 million A-shares pending cancellation, equivalent to 0.68 % of the 17.85 billion A-shares outstanding. Purchase prices disclosed during the period ranged between RMB 2.48 and RMB 3.23 per share, with total consideration of roughly RMB 351.07 million based on the reported daily weighted-average prices and volumes.

CAPITAL STRUCTURE SNAPSHOT (10 July 2026)

• H-shares in issue: 2.84 billion (unchanged pending cancellation of repurchased shares). • A-shares in issue: 17.85 billion (unchanged pending cancellation of repurchased shares).

The company confirms that all repurchases were executed under duly authorised mandates and in compliance with the respective listing rules in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
