Shanghai Bao Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (Bao Pharma-B) disclosed a share buyback of 240,900 H-shares on 3 September 2026. The repurchase, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under the existing mandate granted on 26 May 2026, was completed at prices ranging from HK$16.15 to HK$17.12 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HK$16.5688. The total consideration amounted to HK$3.99 million.
Following the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 151.93 million, down 0.16% from the 152.17 million recorded on 2 September 2026. Treasury shares increased by the same amount to 2.40 million, while the company’s total issued share count remained unchanged at 154.33 million.
Cumulatively, Bao Pharma-B has repurchased 2.40 million shares—equivalent to 1.55% of the issued share base at the time the mandate was approved—against its authorisation to buy back up to 15.43 million shares. All repurchased shares are currently held in treasury; no cancellations or on-market disposals have been executed. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until 3 October 2026.
