MMG Announces Interim Results with Net Profit Attributable to Equity Holders Surging 164% to $897 Million

MMG (01208) has released its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, showing revenue up 61% year-on-year to $4.54 billion. After-tax profit increased 141% to $1.366 billion, while net profit attributable to equity holders surged 164% to $897 million. Basic earnings per share stood at 7.36 US cents.

Operating cash flow saw an 89% rise, reaching a record high of approximately $2.234 billion. The company attributed the strong performance to stable and disciplined operational execution, favorable commodity prices, robust cash generation from operations, and the successful completion of around $1.6 billion in convertible bond issuance and share placement.

MMG has maintained its production guidance for 2026. Copper output is expected to range between 493,000 and 528,000 tonnes, while zinc production is forecast to fall between 215,000 and 235,000 tonnes.
