The latest data reveals that the E Fund China Internet ETF (513050) posted a negative return of 33% for the first half of the year ending June 30th. Its fund size contracted from 398 billion yuan to 328 billion yuan, representing a decline of 70 billion yuan.
However, the total fund shares outstanding increased from 27 billion to approximately 33.554 billion, marking an addition of 6.5 billion shares and a growth rate of 24%. This expansion in shares occurred alongside net fund inflows totaling 88 billion yuan for the period.
