As the new school year begins in September, it's the perfect time to consider an internship alongside your fresh schedule. When social value shifts from "advocacy of ideas" to "quantified practice," and when innovation and entrepreneurship evolve from "a concept" to "a real-world challenge," are you ready for an experience that goes beyond just earning credit? Here, you can immerse yourself in the research field of "corporate social value measurement," applying classroom knowledge to real-world topics. Alternatively, you can step into the operational forefront of an "innovation and entrepreneurship competition," gaining hands-on experience by running with real projects. Two intern positions are currently open, and whether you prefer desktop analysis or thriving in practical scenarios, join us this semester to turn your passion into concrete experiences.
Position One: Social Value Measurement Research Intern
This role involves participating in research and social value measurement for social enterprises, businesses that do good through commerce, and other companies that address social issues via business models. The key focus is converting the social value created by enterprises into indicators that are definable, collectable, and verifiable. We value your proficiency in leveraging AI for efficiency, as well as your ability to independently read, verify, and form judgments without relying solely on AI. Responsibilities include assisting in research and case compilation across fields like social enterprises and commercial beneficence, supporting data collection, calculations, and case writing. You will participate in corporate interviews and case investigations, managing records, verification, and archival. Depending on project needs, you may engage in online or offline discussions and evaluations. Use Excel for data cleaning, statistics, and chart creation; utilize AI for information retrieval and text processing, while manually reviewing generated content. Maintain corporate case libraries, social issue databases, indicator repositories, and project databases to ensure accuracy and traceability. Candidates should be current master's students or above (exceptional senior undergraduates may be considered); majors in data science, computational social science, statistics, economics, sociology, or public policy are preferred. A clear interest in social enterprises, commercial beneficence, social innovation, impact investing, or corporate social value measurement is essential, along with understanding that enterprises solve social issues through business models, not just charity. Strong skills in information retrieval, logical analysis, data processing, and Chinese writing are required, using tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus the ability to apply AI for research and verify results. A minimum commitment of 3–4 days per week for at least 3 consecutive months is expected. Interns will gain deep involvement in social value measurement and impact assessment projects, learning methodologies and processes while connecting with industry experts. Outstanding performers may receive long-term collaboration opportunities or priority consideration for full-time roles. The internship is based in Beijing, supporting both online and offline participation, with a minimum duration of 3 months, starting in September 2026. The stipend is negotiable. To apply, send your resume, a piece of work demonstrating research, data analysis, or case writing skills (sensitive information may be anonymized), and a note under 300 characters describing a social enterprise or commercial beneficence company you endorse, detailing the social issue it addresses, how it uses commercial capabilities, and indicators to measure its social value, to apply@forgood.org.cn. Additionally, briefly describe an experience using AI for research, analysis, or writing, and how you verified the AI-generated content. Use the subject line "Social Value Measurement Research Intern + Your Name + School and Major + Available Internship Period."
Position Two: Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Project Operations Intern
This role focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship projects that combine cutting-edge technology, industrial capability, and social value. After the competition, the team continuously screens and tracks potential projects, promoting their transition from concept to pilot and scalable implementation. You will participate in post-competition project screening, evaluation support, resource coordination, and event organization, helping identify quality projects with technological innovation, industrial value, commercial sustainability, and social impact. Duties include receiving, verifying, and organizing competition materials, maintaining project databases, and conducting initial screenings and categorizations. Analyze projects from technological, industrial, commercial, and social value dimensions to create summaries, profiles, and follow-up recommendations. Assist in inviting reviewers, preparing materials, and compiling evaluation feedback; match projects with corporate needs and track connections. Identify technological barriers, intellectual property, testing, pilot applications, market entry, and scaling potential. Support the planning and execution of roadshows, review meetings, and training camps, coordinating guest communications and on-site logistics. Applicants should be current undergraduate or graduate students; backgrounds in science, engineering, data science, computer science, AI, industrial economics, business administration, sociology, or related cross-disciplinary fields are preferred. Interest in technological innovation, startups, or commercial beneficence is required, with the ability to quickly grasp project principles and applications, plus proactive learning and judgment skills. Strong communication, attention to detail, and responsibility are essential, along with proficiency in Office tools and online collaboration platforms. Flexibility for evening, weekend, or short-term travel work may be needed. A commitment of 3–4 days weekly for at least 3 months is required. Interns will gain in-depth exposure to post-competition operations, systematically understanding the journey of tech projects from showcase to implementation. You'll engage with entrepreneurial teams, corporations, and industry experts, receiving operational and professional writing guidance. Subsidies and certificates are provided as per requirements, with exceptional interns given priority for extended collaboration. The internship is based in Beijing, requiring offline participation, with potential evening or weekend commitments during events, lasting at least 3 months and starting September 2026. The stipend is negotiable. To apply, send your resume, a case study of your involvement in a tech competition, startup project, event, or research initiative, detailing your role, tasks, and outcomes, and a note under 300 characters explaining how you would comprehensively assess technological innovation, industrial application value, commercial viability, and social impact when selecting key follow-up targets from 50 tech projects to apply@forgood.org.cn. You may also include project analyses, event plans, research reports, or related works. Use the subject line "Innovation Competition Intern + Your Name + School and Major + Available Internship Period."
Both positions are now open for applications, and we look forward to meeting you in the golden September days.
