BlackBerry's stock surged 5.00% during intraday trading on Wednesday, as investors reacted positively to news from its QNX unit.
The company's QNX division is set to showcase multiple robotics safety demonstrations at the upcoming Robotics Summit & Expo in Boston. The event will highlight QNX's real-time operating system as a deterministic control layer for AI-enabled systems, featuring demonstrations on low-cost robotic prototyping, factory-style sensor-fusion safety, and real-time motion replication on Intel and NVIDIA hardware.
Additionally, QNX President John Wall will participate in a keynote panel focused on engineering safety, security, and real-time performance into robots operating near humans. The event will also mark the debut of QNX's "Inside the Robot: Architecture Benchmark Report," based on a survey of 1,000 robotics developers worldwide.
