The Xiong'an New Area is accelerating the development of a three-tier commercial system comprising city-level business districts, area-level commercial hubs, and themed commercial streets. This initiative aims to create a well-structured, functionally complementary, and comprehensively covered commercial network. According to Tao Xi, Deputy Director of the Xiong'an New Area Bureau of Commerce and Investment Promotion, city-level business districts are rapidly taking shape with a focus on high-end clustering. Key projects include the Xiong'an Outlets and the XLOOP commercial service center, which are being developed as premier outlet complexes and artistic commercial landmarks, respectively. The soon-to-open International Trade Center will prioritize attracting flagship stores, concept stores, and first-store locations from high-quality domestic and international brands, establishing itself as a new landmark for product launches, exhibitions, and promotional events. Meanwhile, the Huaxi LIVE Plaza will center on trend-driven experiences and cultural-sports activities, creating an immersive art and commercial destination. At the area level, the focus is on enhancing residential convenience and completing daily life amenities by developing neighborhood life centers. These centers integrate government services, public facilities, commercial consumption, and futuristic living experiences, serving the "15-minute living circle" for both relocated individuals and local residents. The goal is to enable residents to fulfill diverse household needs efficiently under one roof. Themed commercial streets will emphasize cultural enrichment, featuring blocks dedicated to time-honored Chinese brands and shaping distinctive commercial-tourism consumption landmarks unique to Xiong'an. This approach aims to better accommodate consumption demands from visitors across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
