Stock News08-12

DEEPZERO (02723) shares surged more than 10%, trading 8.83% higher at HK$653 as of the latest update, with turnover reaching HK$81.99 million. On the news front, the Hang Seng Indexes Company may announce its semi-annual index review results on August 25, 2026, with changes to take effect after the market close on September 4 and become active on September 7.

According to Huatai Securities, DEEPZERO is expected to qualify for the Stock Connect program. The company officially listed in May, becoming the first Hong Kong-listed stock focused on enterprise decision-making AI agents. Its core products, AlphaDesk and AlphaData, boast net revenue retention rates exceeding 85% and 80%, respectively, with customers primarily comprising large and medium-sized enterprises.

Additionally, FDE (Field Deployment Engineer) is emerging as a critical infrastructure for enterprise-level AI application deployment. DEEPZERO founder and CEO Huang Xiaonan believes the company shares similarities with Palantir in its methodology for enterprise AI implementation: first, having personnel who understand clients' true business pain points; second, possessing robust product capabilities; and third, maintaining implementation and delivery teams to seamlessly embed AI products into client workflows. In Palantir's context, this role is the FDE, while DEEPZERO internally refers to it as the AI product manager/solutions team.
