Ieit Systems Co.,Ltd., China's leading server manufacturer, has delivered an impressive interim financial report, with net profit nearly quadrupling year-on-year, signaling that the nation's wave of AI computing infrastructure investment is translating into substantial profitability for top-tier suppliers.
According to the company's 2026 semi-annual report, net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 2.952 billion yuan in the first half, a year-on-year surge of 269.59%. Revenue amounted to 84.379 billion yuan, up 5.22% from the prior year. While top-line growth remained modest, the dramatic jump in profit levels indicates a fundamental improvement in product mix and earnings quality.
From an earnings-per-share perspective, basic EPS rose from 0.54 yuan to 2.01 yuan, an increase of 270.53% year-on-year. The weighted average return on equity jumped sharply from 3.96% to 12.74%, an improvement of 8.78 percentage points, reflecting significantly enhanced profitability efficiency. These combined metrics provide direct reference value for existing shareholders—the company has clearly transitioned from a low-margin hardware assembly model toward a higher-value product structure.
The Bottom Line Holds Up
The rapid profit growth is not reliant on non-recurring gains. During the reporting period, net profit excluding non-recurring items reached 2.419 billion yuan, up 260.08% year-on-year, closely tracking overall profit growth and demonstrating strong sustainability of the earnings improvement.
Total assets stood at 109.091 billion yuan at period-end, up 30.19% from the beginning of the year. Net assets attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached 24.534 billion yuan, up 12.75% year-on-year. The rapid expansion of the asset base reflects continued heavy resource investment during the business growth phase.
Worth noting is that net cash flow from operating activities came in at negative 7.493 billion yuan, widening from the negative 5.576 billion yuan in the same period last year, a decline of 34.39%. This trend is common among server manufacturers in rapid expansion phases, typically linked to extended inventory stocking cycles and growing accounts receivable. However, it remains a risk metric that investors should monitor closely.
Leverage Rises as Bond Financing Expands
As business scale grows, the company's financial leverage has increased. The debt-to-asset ratio climbed to 77.20% at period-end, up approximately 3.56 percentage points from 73.64% at the start of the year, indicating somewhat higher solvency pressure.
Meanwhile, bond financing activity remained active. As of the reporting period-end, outstanding bonds included a green medium-term note issued in 2024 (outstanding balance of 1.5 billion yuan, coupon rate 2.2%), a technology innovation bond issued in 2025 (outstanding balance of 1 billion yuan, coupon rate 1.95%), and two new tranches of technology innovation bonds issued in the first half of 2026 (1 billion yuan each, with coupon rates of 1.76% and 1.85% respectively). Total outstanding bond scale reached 4.5 billion yuan.
The EBITDA interest coverage ratio surged from 4.1 times in the comparable period to 13.45 times, indicating that despite higher debt levels, operating profit's ability to cover interest obligations has strengthened considerably, keeping short-term solvency risks manageable.
Stable Shareholding Structure with Heavy Institutional Presence
On the ownership front, controlling shareholder Inspur Group Co., Ltd. holds a 32.12% stake, representing 472 million shares. Neither the controlling shareholder nor the actual controller changed during the reporting period, keeping the corporate governance framework stable.
Among the top ten shareholders, apart from Inspur Group, Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Ltd. holds 2.48%, while the remaining seats are occupied by domestic mutual funds and insurance capital, including the Industrial Income Enhancement Bond Fund, Yong'an Property & Casualty Insurance Traditional Products, Huashang Credit Enhancement Bond Fund, and China Life Traditional Insurance Products. This ownership structure indicates broad allocation by mainstream domestic institutional investors.
Total ordinary shareholders numbered 324,671 at period-end. The company also announced that it will not distribute cash dividends, issue bonus shares, or convert capital reserves into share capital for the first half of the year.
