XPeng's GX to Launch in Guangzhou This Year, More Affordable Robotaxi Version Planned for 2027

During the 18th Xuanyuan Automotive Bluebook Forum held in Guangzhou from May 15 to 17, with the theme "Turning Point," He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPeng Inc., discussed the company's GX model. He revealed that operations for the GX will commence in Guangzhou this year, with a more economical Robotaxi version scheduled for launch in 2027. "We welcome everyone to come to Guangzhou to see it and experience a ride," he added.

He Xiaopeng noted that, both in China and overseas, once the necessary local licenses are obtained and services are properly established, deployment could take as little as 6 months or, at most, 12 to 18 months. "Therefore, I believe truly large-scale operations will begin in 2028."
