Yonghui Superstores Opens Another "Pang Yonghui" Store in Fengtai

Deep News11-16

This weekend, Yonghui Superstores (Beijing Xitieying Wanda Plaza branch) reopened after adopting business model adjustments inspired by Pang Donglai. Crowds gathered outside the store's second entrance as nearby residents eagerly awaited the new shopping experience post-renovation.

Yonghui has now completed adjustments at 17 stores across Beijing and surrounding areas, covering eight districts. The stores focus on a "product-centric" strategy, with over 80% of merchandise meeting Pang Donglai standards. New products account for more than 40% of inventory, while imported goods make up approximately 20%.

The supermarket chain's nationwide "quality at affordable prices" strategy has become key to serving community needs. In November, over 100 selected representative products form a price matrix featuring "1-yuan vegetables, 10-yuan fruits, 20-yuan meats, and 30-yuan seafood."

The fresh produce section offers organic vegetables, specialty crops, and global fruits like Chilean cherries and Dandong strawberries. The meat department features premium products such as freshly-cut Chaoshan beef and imported steak. The seafood counter displays live swimming crabs, white shrimp, and Yonghui's custom E+-grade salmon.

The bakery and deli sections showcase popular items like roast duck, sweet sausages, and walnut cheese bread, along with new additions like strawberry box cakes and all-meat sausages.

As Fengtai District's fourth renovated store, the Xitieying Wanda Plaza location has customized its layout for the surrounding mature community, emphasizing "quality living." The store highlights Yonghui's custom product lines, including fresh milk (7.9 yuan/950ml) and premium orange juice (13.5 yuan/L). It also incorporates Beijing time-honored brands like Liubiju to blend traditional flavors with daily shopping.

For winter, Yonghui's nationwide "Hot Pot Festival" gets a local twist, focusing on family dining with Beijing-style sesame sauce dips and clear broth, paired with classic ingredients like Inner Mongolian lamb chops and premium beef rolls.

The store has improved shopping comfort by removing forced pathways, widening aisles, and lowering shelves. Additional family-friendly features include kid-friendly carts and pet boarding areas.

A convenience service zone offers over 30 amenities from health measurement devices to warm water stations and emergency medical supplies. Office workers can enjoy free parcel storage, courier services, and lunch heating.

Seafood processing services now include complete cleaning and cutting. Thoughtful touches like anti-freeze gloves in frozen sections and anti-prick gloves at durian counters demonstrate customer care.

Food safety measures remain transparent, with fresh-cut fruits and juices following strict "468 rules." Some vegetables, meats, and seafood receive daily discounting. Real-time pesticide residue test results are publicly displayed, ensuring visible quality control for customer safety.
