China's intellectual property creation quality continued to improve in 2025, according to information released at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 23rd. Throughout the year, a total of 972,000 invention patents were authorized, 4.206 million trademarks were registered, and 10.677 million copyrights were registered. Additionally, 104 geographical indication products were recognized, 51 geographical indications were approved for registration as collective or certification trademarks, and 6,986 new plant variety rights were granted.
