The 2025 Second Zhongguancun Embodied AI Robotics Application Competition concluded on November 18. Organized by the Zhongguancun Science City Administrative Committee and co-hosted by Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Leadee Robotics Platform (Robot Forum), the event focused on core application scenarios including domestic services, commercial services, industrial manufacturing, home care, and emergency response.

The competition featured three main tracks: Embodied AI Model Capability Challenge, Embodied AI Scenario Applications, and Academic Frontiers & Industrial Ecosystem. Over 20 specialized tasks across a dozen subcategories rigorously tested robots' perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities in complex environments.

In the Model Capability Challenge, teams utilized RoboBrain 2.0 and RoboBrain-X0 models for spatial cognition, predictive reasoning, and physical operation tests, emphasizing optimization of "embodied brain" and "embodied cerebellum" architectures. The Scenario Applications track saw record-breaking performances in industrial inspection, material handling, waste sorting, coffee preparation, and pharmaceutical selection tasks. Notable achievements included Lingyu Intelligence completing remote material transfer in 60 seconds and Lingxinqiaoshou Team assembling industrial joints autonomously in 42 seconds.

The Academic & Industrial track showcased cutting-edge developments in multi-legged robots, hybrid wheel-legged robots, soft robotics, and critical sensor technologies, demonstrating progress from fundamental research to industrial chain integration.
